The Boston Bruins have found themselves in a tricky situation this offseason.

Coming off a shocking first round upset in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and now that some of their core forwards are seriously considering retirement, it's up to Don Sweeney to take proactive action to reconstruct their offensive firepower.

Jets Star Forward Coming To Boston?

In the research of finding a replacement for potential retirees Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, a consensus name that has reached headlines is Winnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele. A previous 40 goal scorer throughout his time in Winnipeg, Scheifele has voiced his opinion on not wanting to re-sign with the team going further and that he would definitely be open to a trade.
This lines up great to a point where the Bruins are in need of a top center like Scheifele, and they are still looking to compete for a Stanley Cup, which fits Scheifele's wants.

What A Scheifele, Marchand, and Pastrnak Trio Could Look Like

If Scheifele does indeed end up being acquired by the Bruins, the top line would almost certainly consist of him, Brad Marchand, and David Pastrnak. There is no doubt that Scheifele would fit in really well with these two, as each and every one of them is easily capable of putting up at least 30 goals or more in a season. Adding the youth and skillset of him to this team would most definitely work out to fill the gap that Bergeron leaves behind.
The real question is, will this all come to reality and the Bruins actually pull the trigger?
