BREAKING: Panthers Star Will Require Major Surgery Following Cup Finals Loss

The Florida Panthers came very close, but ultimately couldn't win the cup this season. Unfortunately, the effect of their deep run will leave one player in surgery.

Brandon Montour, who emerged as a true top-pairing defenseman in these playoffs, will reportedly miss three months recovering from a needed surgery on his shoulder.

Three months lines up essentially with the beginning of the season. We will see if Montour will return for opening night to fight for another title.
