BREAKING: Renowned NHL Defenseman's Son Signs NHL Contract

Justin Robidas, son of Stephane Robidas, has signed an NHL contract with the team that drafted him.

Stephane Robidas had a long NHL career as a solid blue liner for the Stars, Ducks, Leafs, Canadiens, and Blackhawks. Throughout 937 games, he registered 258 points mainly as a shutdown defenseman. Stephane Robidas also made the NHL All-Star team in 2009.

Now his son, Justin has inked his first NHL contract with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Justin Robidas, a 5th-round pick in 2021 has been a pivotal member of the Quebec Remparts in their quest for the Memorial Cup. Scoring 36 points in 36 regular season games with Quebec, Robidas has kicked things into high gear for the playoffs scoring 27 points in 18 games thus far.

Robidas will likely spend next season with the Hurricanes AHL affiliate and try to make the NHL squad in 2024. Fantastic news for the Robidas'!
