Kyle Dubas' firing earlier today was the biggest piece of news to hit the NHL since the Bruins were eliminated in the first round last April.
Tim Peel, a disgraced former NHL referee who lets his thoughts run rampant on social media, shared his thoughts on Dubas after the mainstream medias portrayal of Dubas.
The shocking thing about the tweet is his comparison to Marc Bergevin. Bergevin has made some notoriously poor moves like trading Mikhail Sergachev for Jonathan Drouin and drafting Jesperi Kotkaneimi third overall only to have him sign an offer sheet.
While Dubas himself was not the perfect GM, he was in the upper echelon and managed to build rosters with cup aspirations that fell just short every season.
Peel does not look to have any opportunity's in the NHL anytime soon and remains a controversial figure.
Whether it is his social media antics or him harassing teenage officials at a youth hockey game, Peel is a troubled individual and one can only hope he finds the help and clarity he needs.
