Hurricanes GM, Don Waddell, fired shots at the Florida Panthers before their third-round match-up began. Read more to see all of the shocking drama!

Waddell Claps Back At Panthers

With lots of bad blood brewing for a southern-based Eastern Conference Finals, Don Waddell and the Carolina Hurricanes are already taking measures to make sure they have an advantage over the Florida Panthers in every way possible.
The Hurricanes limited ticket sales exclusively to North Carolina, South Carolina, and southern Virginia billing addresses.
The Panthers are familiar with geographic restrictions because, in round 2, they restricted tickets to residents of the United States. While this is not as drastic as restricting it to just two states, it is still preventing most Maple Leafs fans from going to those games if they decided they wanted to.
This appears to be the Hurricanes getting a leg up on the Panthers but the most shocking thing about the Panthers is that they did not restrict ticketing at all this time around which is quite strange.
All in all, the Hurricanes making sure their fans are going to their games is quite important for them to establish their crowd to rattle the Panthers.
