Yesterday's matchup between the Maple Leafs and the Lightning was intense. Both teams played with intensity, but ultimately, the Leafs couldn't beat the Panthers and lost the first two games of the series in front of their fans.

One player was particularly aggressive for the Panthers: Sam Bennett.

He was involved in two dangerous situations and he should hear from the Department of Player Safety for at least one of his dirty plays.

The first one involved Matthew Knies. They were behind Florida's net and Bennett must have confused the game for a wrestling match: he literally took him and put him on the ground.

The other was even more obvious.

Michael Bunting was in front of Sergei Bobrovsky and he received a cross-check in the head. Before he could get up, he received another one in the back.

Here's the video:

Both of these plays are dirty and could lead to a suspension.

How many games do you think he should be suspended?

As seen on Blade of Steel - Sam Bennett could face supplemental discipline after multiple dirty plays last night in Game 2
