What a fantastic moment this is! The New York Rangers' Jacob Trouba, mostly known for leaving opponents stunned with huge hits, left an 18-year-old speechless with a different move following the team's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. 18-year-old Isaiah Marquez-Greene has been following Trouba's career since he lived in Winnipeg for three years as a child. After leaving Winnipeg, Marquez-Greene's family was struck by tragedy, and Trouba and the Rangers wanted to help.

Marquez-Greene was gifted with the jersey off Trouba's back, which he signed. He then told the the goaltender for Taft High School in Watertown, Conn., that he was getting a scholarship for law school through the Garden of Dreams initiative. If that wasn't enough, he took Marquez-Greene's phone and programmed his number into it so he could check up on him.

"I want an invitation for when you graduate law school and I'm gonna check in on you when you go to college next year," Trouba told Marquez-Greene.

After leaving Winnipeg at the age of 8, Marquez-Greene's family moved to Newtown, Conn. Shortly after, his younger sister Ana was killed in the Sandy Hook tragedy.

"I know your story. I feel for you," Trouba told Marquez-Greene. "You're an amazing human."

The look of pure happiness on Marquez-Greene's face tells you pretty much all you need to know about how the news impacted him. This was a side of Trouba we aren't used to seeing, but you can tell he was more than happy to deliver the news.
