Vladimir Konstantinov is one of the game's universally beloved figures.
Even in the heat of the Colorado/Detroit rivalry of the 90s, NHL fans of all loyalties can rally behind the stud Russian defender. Konstantinov's injuries stemming from a tragic car accident ended his career, but his legacy remains strong to this day.
This scene at an alumni game over the weekend invoked all the emotions. Truly one of the game's most emotional stories.
