It's been nearly ten years since the infamous incident between Bruce Boudreau and Patrick Roy when the Anaheim Ducks took on the Colorado Avalanche to open the 2013-14 season.

At the end of the game, a brawl broke out in front of the Avalanche bench. Patrick Roy was not happy about a knee-on-knee hit by Ben Lovejoy on Nathan MacKinnon that happened earlier in the game. Roy and Boudreau were seen pointing and yelling at each other, while the four-time Stanley Cup champion pushed the glass partition twice towards Boudreau before being taken away by his assistant coaches.

While on the 'That's Hockey Talk' podcast, Boudreau spoke about the incident and mentioned that Corey Perry wanted him to fight Patrick Roy.

"I'll tell you a quick story about him as being a shit disturber. I don't know if you remember, but I think it was my second year, first game of the year we played in Colorado. Patrick Roy, it was his first year coaching and they were kicking our butt 6-0. We scored a goal with five seconds to go to make it 6-1 and then Patrick, from the Quebec league, threw out all his tough guys. It was in his building. We had nobody out there and the puck goes to, and Matt Belesky was our toughest guy on the ice, and the puck went to their bench and everybody sort of jumped him."

"Patrick was over there screaming at him and the reason why he is screaming is Corey had taken the water bottle and stuck it under someone's arm and was just squirting Patrick in the face with the water bottle the whole time...And you have to remember, Patrick charged the glass at me. I thought, 'Oh my god, we're going to get into a big brawl here'. But it was all because of Corey squirting water in his face. The next time we play in Colorado, after the anthem, Corey goes up to the glass and moves it and then he gives the thumbs up to Patrick to say 'we're okay if you try it again, it's sturdy'. Like I mean, he was that kind of shit disturber all over the ice."

The next day, the National Hockey League fined Patrick Roy $10,000 for his actions at the end of the game and when meeting with the media, he called Boudreau 'classless'.
