Tom Wilson missed the first half of the season for the Washington Capitals, so easing into the rough stuff is probably smart. The dual-threat hasn't fought yet since coming back, but exactly zero people thought that was sustainable.

He was clearly not as dominant as he usually is, given his extended time off from playing. Give him some time to really ramp up.
Plus, now that the Caps are selling off players, frustration is sure to mount down the stretch, which should equal more fights. Just a theory.
