The Vancouver Canucks are in Nashville today to take on the Predators at 8 p.m. ET and they'll look to get the two points without defenceman Luke Schenn.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Luke Schenn will be a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game. Rick Dhaliwal of 'Donnie and Dhali' reported that trade talks surrounding Schenn are heating up and that he could sit for Tuesday's game, with Friedman later confirming the news.

It's shaping up to be a pretty busy deadline for Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin. Just over three weeks ago, he shipped captain Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders. Along with Schenn, there are a few others that could be on the move before March 3rd, including forward Brock Boeser.

Schenn, 33, is in the final year of a two-year contract which sees him earn $850,000 AAV. He'll become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. In 55 games this season, Schenn has 21 points (three goals, 18 assists), 71 penalty minutes, is a plus-nine and is averaging 17:11 TOI per game.
