Nicolas Deslauriers and Jamie Oleksiak throw down in heavyweight tilt (video)

During the first period of Thursday night's game between the Seattle and Philadelphia, Kraken defenceman Jamie Oleksiak drops the mitts with Flyers forward Nicolas Deslauriers in a heavyweight tilt.

On paper, the 6'7", 257 lb Oleksiak may seem like the likely winner against the 6'1" 220 lb Deslauriers, but it was the Flyers forward who would get the upper-hand in the fight. Deslauriers landed several rights and body shots on Oleksiak throughout the fight, but the Kraken defenceman was able to get a couple of punches in before the officials stepped in to break up the two after a nearly thirty-second fight.

Thursday's tilt marked Deslauriers' tenth of the 2022-23 season, while it was Oleksiak's fourth fight of the campaign.
