The Boston Bruins have been arguably the best team in the National Hockey League all season long. Despite losing three of their last four, they currently sit atop the Atlantic Division and Eastern Conference with a record of 39-7-4 through 51 games.

All around the Bruins have been fantastic this season, from their forwards and their defensive core to the goaltending tandem of Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman. While the Bruins don't necessarily need to add at the trade deadline and could stand pat with their current roster, it doesn't mean that they won't look to see what's out there on the market.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Bruins have checked in on a trio of defencemen, Arizona's Jakob Chychrun, Columbus' Vladislav Gavrikov and Vancouver's Luke Schenn.

"I mentioned before that Boston has looked at left-shot options such as Jakob Chychrun and Vladislav Gavrikov. The Bruins also appear to be considering Luke Schenn on the right." Friedman said in his most recent '32 Thoughts' article.

Of those three, Luke Schenn would likely cost the Bruins the least, possibly a mid-round pick. The asking price has been known for a long time now regarding Jakob Chychrun, as the Coyotes are seeking a massive package involving picks and prospect. As for Vladislav Gavrikov, there's a chance he could fetch the Blue Jackets a first-round pick, especially if you look at the returns David Savard and Ben Chiarot in recent years.

Of the three defencemen that Elliotte Friedman mentions, who would be the best fit for the Boston Bruins? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
