Binnington Receives 10 minute Misconduct for ''Inciting''

St. Louis Blues' netminder Jordan Binnington has always been known for his feistiness. Just two nights ago, he unsuccessfully attempted to hit Carolina Hurricanes' captain, Jordan Staal. Well, Binnington's antics continued Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

At the end of the first period, Binnington subtly interfered with Penguins' forward Jason Zucker:

Originally, Binnington was called for a 4 minute double-minor for high sticking, but the call was reversed to no penalty upon review. The officials explained that it was not Binnington's stick that caused Zucker to bleed.

Karma would come back to bite Binnington in the second period when Jason Zucker buried one on the netminder for the Penguins' 4th goal on just 17 shots. Binnington was pulled after the goal, and on his way to the Blues' bench, attempted to engage with the Penguins bench:

Binnington was assessed a 10 minute misconduct for "inciting." Zucker's reaction to Binnington was priceless:
