Tristan Jarry Sweeps the Leg on Leon Draisaitl (VIDEO)

I'm a firm believer that goalies should get more engaged in the physical part of the game. Not only are they the most equipped to do so, but the entertainment value alone would jolt the NHL's salary cap an extra 5% at a minimum. Don't ask me where I got those projections.

Jarry was skating off the ice for a delayed penalty when Leon Draisaitl stood in his path. Most folks would have gone around, but Jarry is not most folks. He stood his ground, and when Leon wouldn't budge Jarry just swept the leg. Current UFC Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev could probably take notes; this was a textbook leg sweep.

Tristan Jarry did rack up a couple of PIMs tonight, but not on this play. Good on the refs honestly. Let's get more of this in the game, eh?
