The Vegas Golden Knights are not displaying the Chicago Blackhawks' primary logo for on-ice projections or on the scoreboard, instead opting for their secondary logo, per Mark Lazerus:

Lazerus suspects that more and more teams will do this, as the logo has been the focus of serious social pressure. Several attempts have been made to persuade the organization into changing the logo, but owner Rocky Wirtz has maintained that the logo simply pays homage to the the military unit in which the original owner, Frederic McLaughlin, served in WWI.

In World War 1, McLaughlin commanded the 333rd Machine Gun Battalion of the U.S. Army's 86th Infantry Division, nicknamed "the Blackhawk Division", after Sauk war leader Black Hawk.

According to Lazerus, the Colorado Avalanche displayed Chicago's standard primary logo, and Denver is one of the USA's most liberal cities. For what it's worth.

As of today, it is a 1-1 split; one team displayed the native-American logo, one other did not. So whether or not this is an isolated case of virtue signaling or part of a larger movement is yet to be seen.

Although, it will be interesting to watch.

The Blackhawks' organization is recovering from arguably the largest scandal in NHL history, with regards to the sexual assault case involving Kyle Beach and a former video coach.

Past attempts at changing the logo have been met with contempt and an unwillingness to give in. This time, however, their response to further social pressure could be met with a much more different tune.
