Boston Bruins head coach announced today that forward Taylor Hall is week-to-week with an upper-body injury. A devastating blow for a team counting on depth scoring in the absence of star players.

Currently on the Bruins' injured list:

- Brad Marchand
- Charlie McAvoy
- Matt Grzelyck
- Taylor Hall
- Fabian Lysell

With this news, Hall's status for the team's opener on October 12 is in jeopardy. Lysell, on the other hand, was posterized by Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen and day-to-day; could play in the team's preseason game in New York on Wednesday.

A rocky start for Boston just got a little rockier, as they are now missing four critical players; two up front, two in back, plus potentially one of their top prospects.

At a time when their secondary and depth scorers need to carry the team, they can hardly afford to lose any more offensive weapons. The team is already at risk of a slow start, so hopefully they can get to 100% before long.
