The coverage of the Colorado Avalanche players' respective days with the Cup from the Keeper himself, Phil Pritchard, is one of the great traditions of hockey's offseason. In a time devoid of hockey content, it provides fans a glimpse into the personal lives of players, and it also documents all the bumps and bruises the Cup endures in a summer with hockey players.

So far this summer, the Cup has visited children's hospitals, various bodies of water, and even the back of a Ferrari, courtesy of Colorado's Head Scout Wade Klippenstein:

Cale Makar and Logan O'Connor brought the Cup to Calgary, AB, where both players have roots. While Makar is from the area, O'Connor was born in Texas, where his father played at the time of his birth but was raised in Calgary. The pair of champions boated the Cup down Calgary's Bow River and invited fans to join them:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Lightning started the celebratory boating trend, and it is spreading all over North America, even Canada's Great Plains. The pair of Calgary boys are enjoying the day with family and fans alike. Hopefully, there is no chucking the Cup between boats, like another pair of champions we know...
