Max Pacioretty to Miss Six Months After News of Torn Achilles' Tendon
The Carolina Hurricanes announced today that Max Pacioretty will undergo surgery on Wednesday to repair a torn Achilles' tendon:
The forward was recently acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights, and will likely start the season on long-term injured reserve, giving GM Don Waddell $7M in salary cap relief to start 2022-23.
