The 2022 World Juniors are set to begin in a couple short days, and TEAM USA has officially named its final roster heading into the tournament. The reigning gold medalists are bringing a strong roster into the summertime rendition of the World Junior Championship:

- Carter Mazur (DET)
- Hunter McKown (Undrafted)
- Sasha Pastujov (ANA)
- Mackie Samoskevich (FLA)

- Jack Peart (MIN)
- Jacob Truscott (VAN)

Goalies
- Remington Keopple (Undrafted)
- Kaidan Mbereko (Undrafted)
- Andrew Oke (Undrafted)

As far as skater groups go, this will be one of the best teams at the tournament. But their goaltending group looks much softer than usual. If the USA hopes to repeat as WJC Gold Medalists, either one of these goaltenders will have to make a name for himself, or their skater group will need to dominate each and every game.

With Canada, Sweden, and Finland bringing top teams as well, that won't be so easy. The Americans start off the tournament against Team Germany on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
