With Mikko Koskinen heading to Switzerland next season and the uncertainty surrounding Mike Smith's future, Edmonton Oilers General Manager Ken Holland told reporters that his top priority is finding a new netminder.

"I need one. I've got to get one. It's as simple as that," Holland said. "There's a lot of things we'd like to get done, but none of that can really be addressed until the goalie situation gets ironed out. That's the focus."

There has been a lot of movement on the goaltending market over the last several days including Marc-Andre Fleury re-signing with the Minnesota Wild, and Alexandar Georgiev, Ville Husso, Vitek Vanecek all being traded.

Darcy Kuemper and Jack Campbell are two names that Holland will have his eye on when free agency opens next week. If he decides to go down the trade route, it's possible that Matt Murray and Jake Allen could be options in the Alberta capital.

"Again, I need a goalie. Some guys moved in trades today. Ville Husso went to Detroit. (Vitek) Vanecek went to New Jersey from Washington. Marc-Andre Fleury was re-signed by Minnesota. So, there's a lot that went on. Whatever the case, we've got to get one," Holland said.

The NHL's free agent window will open at 12 p.m. ET on July 13th.
