This Toronto/Tampa Bay series was destined for seven games from the moment the matchup was made. Everything about this series has been as advertised from Matthews' clutch goals to the resilient & battle hardened Bolts stifling the high flying Leafs. Game 6 was the best game of the series, no question. An overtime finish that had you on the edge of your seat, the Tampa Bay Lightning force Game 7 thanks to who other than Brayden Point.

Both teams assumed little risk after Nikita Kucherov's 5-on-3 PP goal, which was about as unpredictable as a bowl of oatmeal. Both goalies played admirably as well; especially Andrei Vasilevskiy, who was the busier of the two net minders in the OT frame & held it down. This might be the understatement of the century, but what an important part of that Lightning team Vasilevskiy is. They lean on him heavily in these games, and he almost always delivers.

Game 7 at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday. It would be categorically on-brand for the Leafs to fumble the 3-2 series lead, but The Passion is real & impossible to ignore. Either way, Game 7 will be absolutely must-watch.
