A look at who may represent Canada at the 2022 IIHF World Hockey Championship

With the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs right around the corner, several players on non-playoff teams will get the opportunity at the 2022 IIHF World Hockey Championship in Finland in May.

Today, we're going to take a look at who might represent Canada over in Finland in four weeks, as they try to win back-to-back gold medals for the first time since 2015 and 2016.

Note: the roster below is based off of teams not in a playoff position as of Saturday morning.

I have also left some spots open for players that may join Team Canada at the conclusion of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Canada will open their 2022 IIHF World Hockey Championship on Friday, May 13th as they take on Germany.
