Ryan Kesler Traded to Vegas Golden Knights
In a super complicated & super late trade, the Vegas Golden Knights have traded for F Ryan Kesler. "I thought Ryan Kesler retired." That's because he did. Years ago. But that doesn't mean his contract goes "poof." With term still on it, Kesler's contract is eligible to be traded. Which is exactly Anaheim Ducks GM Pat Verbeek just did in exchange for Vegas Golden Knights' F Evgenii Dadonov. A pair of picks was also exchanged, but in principal Vegas saves a small amount of salary cap space.
