The Chicago Blackhawks have reportedly found their new GM. All that's missing now is the official announcement.

"Sources tell @DailyFaceoff the Chicago Blackhawks will name Kyle Davidson the team's 10th General Manager on Tuesday," said Frank Seravalli on Twitter.

Davidson has been acting as the Blackhawks interim GM since Stan Bowman stepped down amid controversy over the findings of an independent investigation into the Kyle Beach incident. Before that, he held various positions within the organization before being named an assistant GM in 2018.

Davidson was with the Blackhawks organization when they won their Stanley Cups in 2013 and 2015. According to The Athletic, the other two finalists were Tampa Bay Lightning director of operations Mathieu Darche, and Chicago Cubs assistant GM Jeff Greenberg.
