In Friday night's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Dallas Stars, Jamie Benn decided to try and stir the pot a bit while sitting on the bench. Now, he's paying for it.

The Stars' Michael Raffl took MacKenzie Entwistle into the boards near the bench in the third period, causing him to go face first into the glass where it curves. There was no penalty on the play. As Entwistle, who was a bit shaken up on the hit, skated back to his own bench, Benn squirted water directly at him from his own bench. It was clearly an intentional action.

Obviously this wasn't an act meant to injure Entwistle. Benn, however, had to know it probably wouldn't go unnoticed. That said, with Benn making $9.5 million per season (AAV), he gets an average of close to $160k per game in an 82 game season. The fine likely isn't too much of a concern for him.
