Rasmus Dahlin Forced To Leave Sabres Practice After Being Hit In The Hand
The Buffalo Sabres have had an injury scare to their star defenseman, Rasmus Dahlin, only days into the 2023-24 NHL preseason. Dahlin left an inter-squad scrimmage after an apparent hand injury
The Sabres are looking to make the playoffs this year
This news is certainly not what Sabres' management and fans want to see with the high expectations that the team has for this upcoming season. Dahlin will be vital to the Sabres' playoff chances.

An injury not only would hurt Buffalo's season, but Dahlin, himself, is also on the cusp of signing a long-term contract extension.
The apparent injury looks to be a false alarm
After the scrimmage, Dahlin himself confirmed that he is feeling and fine and Sabres' fans should breath a sigh of relief. It will be wise for the Sabres' to continue to monitor the situation, as they do not want Rasmus to suffer any lingering effects throughout the rest of training camp.
