The Ottawa Senators seem to be a hot commodity these days.
First, Ryan Reynolds wants to buy part of them, and now famous rapper Snoop Dogg.
Snoop in on the Sens
Reynolds makes sense, since he's Canadian and he's already bought a sports team, Wrexham FC. Snoop Dogg wanting in is a little bit surprising. He's definitely a hockey fan, but most thought he was a kings fan first and foremost. Maybe the offer was too good to pass up.
But hey, he has so much money and not all of it is going towards grass, so he has to allocate it somewhere.
If two personalities like Reynolds and Snoop Dogg can collaborate and buy the Senators, that would do wonders for their organization. Former owner Eugene Melnyk took lots of criticism, but now it's time to turn the page and start fresh.
Could a new arena be in the works in Ottawa ?
