Yesterday, two major Stanley Cup contenders were eliminated from the playoffs: the Bruins and the Avalanche.

Against all odds, the Florida Panthers eliminated the Boston Bruins in seven games. Now, they will compete against the Maple Leafs to reach the conference finals.

As preparations for the second round are well underway, a new development has occurred in Florida, and Canadian fans aren't happy.

Shocking New Rule by Panthers Management Will Keep Leafs Fans Out of Florida

Here's the statement issued by Florida's management :

"FLA Live Arena is located in Sunrise, Florida. Sales to this event will be restricted to residents of the United States. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside of the United States will be canceled without notice, and refunds given."

The new rule has upset not only Leafs fans but also Panthers' fans who wanted to make the trip from Canada.

This strategy seems useless and unfair to harm the Leafs. Let's not forget that they beat the Lightning three times in Tampa Bay during the same series.

It is unclear where this is going, but someone needs to address this injustice!
