St. Louis Blues defenceman Justin Faulk caused some controversy late last week after being asked if he was looking forward to his team's road trip to Canada.

"I'm not looking forward to going to Canada one bit," said the American. "But, we'll play some hockey games and get it over with."

Asked to elaborate on why, Faulk said things seems to be going differently "up there" and he likes with the US is at. While never saying the words COVID restrictions, it was pretty clear that's what he was talking about.

Fast forward to Monday night, and the Blues were in Calgary to take on the Flames. It's didn't go well for St. Louis at all, with the Flames trouncing them 7-1. Following the big win, the Calgary's Twitter account tweeted "We see why the Blues wanted to get out of Canada quickly."

Even some Edmonton fans seemed to like the tweet. which is odd considering how heated the rivalry between the Flames and Oilers can get sometimes.
