The feud between the Carolina Hurricanes and Brad Marchand continues. This all started when a reporter asked the Canes' Vincent Trocheck how he felt about having his game compared to that of Marchand before Tuesday night's game against the Bruins.

"Are you calling me a rat?" responded Trocheck.

That got a response from Marchand on social media who said comparing Trocheck to him was like comparing "a Lambo to a Prius."

Following the Hurricanes 7-1 win over the Bruins Tuesday, the Canes' Twitter account was relentless, posting a video of Trocheck hitting Marchand and saying this is what it looks like when a Prius slams a Lamborghini, and posting the final score with the caption "L stands for Lamborghini."

Marchand finally answered back Wednesday afternoon, responding to the Tweet from the Hurricanes by saying "You're still the reason we pay 20% in escrow."

For those unaware, a portion of players' salaries are kept in escrow. If player salaries outweigh team revenues, the teams that didn't generate revenue get a portion of that money. Teams that don't generate revenue usually have half-filled arenas or sell tickets dirt cheap in order to fill seats. Marchand is essentially calling the Carolina Hurricanes a poverty franchise.

Carolina's social media team seems intent on making as many enemies as it takes to get laughs from fans. Hopefully they aren't shocked when someone responds.
