The Canadiens returned to practice on Monday morning after having Sunday off. Following today's skate, head coach Dominique Ducharme gave an update on star goaltender Carey Price.

Price exited the NHL's player assistance program late last week, and Ducharme said that he met with the team's athletic therapists who were happy that he was in good shape when it came to his off-season knee surgery.

There are no set plans for Price's return at the moment, but he'll need to get back up to game speed and work on his conditioning. It's highly likely that the Canadiens will send Price to Laval for a conditioning stint, but even if they do so, that timeline is still TBD.

Ducharme also added that Price will return to the ice at the team's practice facility on Tuesday morning, which will be the first time he'll have seen his teammates since training camp in September.

Montreal will be back in action on Tuesday night when they welcome Phillip Danault and the Los Angeles Kings to the Bell Centre.
