TSN has added another insider to their lineup. Darren Dreger announced on his Twitter account on Tuesday that the Canadian network has hired former Sportsnet insider Chris Johnston.

"Breaking news: we have a free agent signing to announce. Chris Johnston is joining @TSN_Sports as a Hockey Insider. Starting today you'll see & hear @reporterchris on Insider Trading, @SportsCentre, 7-Eleven That's Hockey & @TSN1050Radio. Chris, welcome to the TSN team." Dreger said in a tweet.

Johnston, 46, began his career with The Canadian Press and has covered the NHL for the past 16 years, the last seven of which he spent at Sportsnet.

Earlier in September, Johnston announced that he was leaving Sportsnet after working there since 2014. He then subsequently announced that he was joining the Toronto Star as a columnist. He's also started his own podcast called "The Chris Johnston Show."
