On Monday afternoon, a lady by the name of Janessa Allison tweeted out a thank you to a couple who had really helped her out that day.

"To the couple who insisted on paying for my groceries when I realized I forgot my wallet at the St. Leons checkout with Lincoln in tow," the Tweet read. "I so badly needed that tangible reminder that people are looking out for each other. I cried on the way home from relief."

While it remained unknown for several hours who the good samaritans were, a man by the name of Adrian Wortley replied later in the night.

«My daughter works at St-Leon. The person who did that good deed for you was none other than [Winnipeg] Jets captain, Blake Wheeler!!»

To anyone who has followed Wheeler throughout his career, it doesn't seem like much of a surprise that he would do something like this. The 35-year-old, on top of being a phenomenal hockey player, has always exemplified great leadership and has always come off as being extremely humble. This kind act helps further that notion.
