With the NHL season creeping up very soon, NHL Network released its projected points leaders for next season. Of course with everything that NHL Network releases, there is a ton of controversy coming from all fans.

The top five in order from first to fifth went as so: Connor McDavid, Leon Draisatl, Nikita Kucherov, Artemi Panarin, and Nathan MacKinnon. All of them are projected to be over 100 points with McDavid projected for 130 points.

1. Connor McDavid, EDM 130 points (44 goals, 86 assists)
2. Leon Draisaitl, EDM 115 points (45 goals, 70 assists)
3. Nikita Kucherov, TBL 106 points (38 goals, 68 assists)
4. Artemi Panarin, NYR 104 (32 goals, 72 assists)
5. Nathan MacKinnon, COL 104 points (38 goals, 66 assists)

This list seems pretty reasonable for the order, but the amount of points by each player may be too much. The NHL season is slated to start on October 12, 2021 with a full 82-game schedule.
