We may have seen the last of David Krejci in the National Hockey League. According to Pavel Barta of ISport in the Czech Republic, Krejci may return to his home country if he doesn't re-sign with the Boston Bruins.

"There are two options. One American, one Czech. Alternatively, there is a third, less likely option. Enter the free agent market and sign with another NHL team. However, Boston remains David's priority," Barta said.

If Krejci does return to the Czech Republic, he'll reportedly sign with HC Olomouc. "Of all the European clubs that are running for the 35-year center, according to ISport, there is only one possible one for him. That is HC Olomouc," Barta added.

Krejci, 35, has spent his entire 15-year career with the Boston Bruins after being selected in the second round, 63rd overall by them in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. In 962 regular season games, Krejci has 730 points (215 G, 515 A), 339 penalty minutes, and is a +143. In 156 career playoff games, the Sternberk, Czech Republic native has tallied 124 points (42 G, 82 A), 60 penalty minutes, and is a +23. Krejci helped the Bruins win the Stanley Cup in 2011, their sixth in franchise history.
