Artemi Panarin is one of the keys to the New York Rangers success this season, and after leaving a pre-season game with an injury, we've got a major update.

The New York Rangers have been closing in on a Stanley Cup Finals appearance for the past three years now, and with a loaded roster, they're expected to compete once more in 2024/25. However, there are a few players whose injury could completely derail the season, and one of those is Artemi Panarin, who left the Rangers last pre-season game to the worry of all fans in the Big Apple.
Two days later however, and things appear to be all good with the Rangers superstar, as he was spotted at practice on Thursday showing no signs of an injury, allowing all Rangers fans to breathe a massive sigh of relief.
The reported injury was a lower-body one, and while no further details were given by Head Coach Peter Laviolette, all seems well with Panarin, but with the regular season rapidly approaching, expect them to take a cautious approach to keep their star winger healthy.
In five seasons with New York, Panarin has topped 90 points in four of those (a Covid shortened season being the exception), with 2023/24 being a career year for the Russian star as he tallied 49 goals and 120 points while playing in all 82 games. He's yet to help the Rangers past the Eastern Conference Finals, somewhere they've been twice in the last three years, but if they are to finally do it, alongside star goaltender Igor Shesterkin and a talented lineup, they'll need Panarin at 100% when the playoffs roll around.
