The Vancouver Canucks finally added a new goalie after two NHL veterans refused to sign with them.

Yesterday, a worrying report emerged, which confirmed that two veteran goaltenders refused offers from the Vancouver Canucks: Antti Raanta and Kevin Lankinen.
Raanta, 35, moved back to Europe and it looks like his last NHL game is behind him. As for Lankinen, he wanted a salary of $1M or more, and the Canucks offered him less than that.
The Canucks are in a tough spot at the moment because of the uncertainty surrounding Thatcher Demko's health.
In the playoffs, the goalie got injured, and he could live with the consequences of that injury for a long time.
That's why they've been after a goalie for a while now.
Their search can finally end as Dylan Ferguson agreed on the terms of a professional tryout contract with the Canucks.
The organization shared the news on X:
Drafted 194th overall in 2017 by the Dallas Stars, the 25 year old goalie played three NHL games in his career: one with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2017-18, and two with the Ottawa Senators in 2022-23.
He will look to have a great training camp to impress the Canucks' coaching staff and management in order to get a spot with the organization, either in Vancouver or Abbotsford.
