The Washington Capitals have announced that TikTok will be their official sponsor for road games, as they will have a patch on all away jerseys.

The Washington Capitals have a new sponsor adorning their away-game jerseys, courtesy of social media giant TikTok.
The Capitals announced a multi-year partnership with the platform on Monday, which puts the TikTok logo on their road jerseys. The black-and-white TikTok patch will go on the other side of the special 50th-anniversary logo the team is wearing this season. Caesar's Sportsbook remains the advertising partner for the home and alternate jerseys.
The larger scope of promotions aside from the jersey branding includes presenting the Capitals' 50th Anniversary Celebration, sponsoring the away broadcasts on Monumental Sports Network, and supporting the coverage of road games by Capitals Radio Network under the "Capitals Road to Success" banner. TikTok also will feature in-arena advertisements.
As for those new jerseys on the road, an initial view will be given when the Capitals take on the Boston Bruins for a preseason game on September 24.
Fans aren't very happy with this, with many taking to social media to express their major discontent over the new sponsorship.
