Police have revealed the man behind the death of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew Gaudreau. Sean Higgins has been arrested and charged with two counts.

A lot of speculation arose when the rumor was that two bikers had been hit by a motorist near their home. Much of the speculation laid it on the Gaudreau brothers, but some doubts started setting in. Well, it is confirmed now, and facts began coming in on this horrific incident.
As ESPN Get Up's Mike Greenberg detailed, Columbus Blue Jackets star Johnny Gaudreau and his older brother were struck by a 43-year-old male, Sean Higgins. Higgins will be charged with two counts of driving under the influence and causing vehicular homicide.

This morning, the Columbus Blue Jackets released a statement that was absolutely heartfelt, showing just how much teammates and family cared for this young hockey star.
"Johnny played the game with great joy which was felt by everyone that saw him on the ice. He brought a genuine love for hockey with him everywhere he played from Boston College to the Calgary Flames to Team USA to the Blue Jackets. He thrilled fans in a way only Johnny Hockey could. The impact he had on our organization and our sport was profound but pales in comparison to the indelible impression he made on everyone who knew him. Johnny embraced our community when he arrived two years ago, and Columbus welcomed him with open arms. We will miss him terribly and do everything that we can to support his family and each other through this tragedy."

We send our deepest thoughts to the Gaudreau family in this terrible time. We wish all the people who have been affected by this are able to get some help from the community.
