New Era, a very well known brand globally, is partnering with the NHL to design all 32 teams' headware, following controversy involving Fanatics.

New Era is going to begin designing and supplying headwear for all NHL teams which will begin at the start of the 2024-25 season.

New Era Cap announces new partnership with the NHL. Multiyear agreement begins in the 2024-25 @NHL season with @NewEraCap producing caps and apparel for all 32 NHL teams.

New Era will be taking over from Fanatics, who up until this season have been in charge of supplying headware for the NHL. Fanatics has faced their fare share of criticism and been involved in several controversies. Many people ripped into Fanatics for their poor workmanship, which is why it was extremely shocking for fans to learn that beginning next year, Adidas will no longer be designing NHL jerseys, only to be replaced by, yup, you got it, Fanatics!

The entire NHL fanbase coming together to unilaterally agree the NHL's jersey deal with Fanatics is terrible because they make a horrendous product

Above are some examples of the poor job that Fanatics did when making some NHL jerseys for fans, who have been voicing their displeasure all over social media in recent memory, so they will happy to know that New Era will hopefully be able to produce much better quality hats now that Fanatics will no longer be involved on that side of the business anymore. It is bitter sweet, however, as Fanatics will now be the official designer and producer of authentic NHL jerseys.
