The 2023 Conn Smythe trophy winner Jonathan Marchessault has left the Vegas Golden Knights to sign with the Nashville Predators.

After missing the playoffs in the 2023-24 season, the Nashville Predators have added offensive firepower in 2023 Conn Smythe champion of the Vegas Golden Knighs Jonathan Marchessault.

If the Predators can finalize things with Jonathan Marchessault, hearing his deal with Nashville will be five years and around $5.5 M AAV per season

A $5.5M deal over five years for Marchessault feels perfectly reasonable. A shame that Vegas couldn't do this, but that's a solid get for Nashville.

Vegas Golden Knights fans are already sending out messages to Jonathan Marchessault wishing him well:

With multiple reports of Jonathan Marchessault unable to come to terms and likely being on the outs in Vegas, we relive this all-time parade moment.

Misfit forever.

Having likely signed Steven Stamkos as well, things are looking good for Barry Trotz and the Nashville Predators.
