The Vancouver Canucks made the huge move to get Elias Lindholm ahead of the trade deadline from Calgary, but now it appears he may be on his way out as a free agent.

Despite adding Lindholm, Nikita Zadorov and several key players over the past 12 months, the Vancouver Canucks would ultimately fail in their chase for a Stanley Cup, with the team losing to the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. Now, the team have to deal with their pending free agents, and for star center Lindholm, it appears as though his future may be elsewhere.
Guess Lindholm is not staying? 👀
It was Lindholm's wife that gave the biggest hint yet of his future, sharing photos to social media of the veteran packing his things, captioning the photo 'Last day in Vancouver'.
Following that, a fan asked why they had to leave Vancouver, with Lindholm's partner directly correlating her post to his pending status as a free agent, suggesting his short-lived run in Vancouver is officially over.
Elias becomes a "free agent" this summer, so it is a little different now with a new contract
There's always time for things to change, but given the reports that he turned down a massive offer from the Flames earlier this season, it's very safe to say that he has priced himself out of a new deal with the Canucks.
