Well this is something you definitely don't see every day. A leaked video shows members of the Russian military members playing hockey on a massive An-124 aircraft, which is considered the largest military transport plane in service anywhere. According to several reports, this is being done as rehearsal for a huge publicity stunt involving Russian President Vladimir Putin that will see a hockey game being played at 33,000 feet in the air in June.

Pilots placed plywood down on the floor of the plane's cargo hold and then converted it into an ice surface at the Migalovo military airfield near Tver. The short video shows the players in full gear, with at least on of them struggling to stay on his feet, as you can imagine. Check it out. According to Sport24.ru, the plane was in the air at the time, although it's not clear at what altitude.

June 1st is the "Annual Day of Military-Transport Aviation" in Russia and, according to 360TV, a large scale celebration is planned that will include a hockey game taking place in the plane. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see the full video when the actual game is played! If you're unfamiliar with just how big an An-124 is, take a look at this beast!
