Due to a blizzard in the Denver, Colorado area, the Los Angeles Kings have been left stranded, and unable to fly home for their game on Monday night against the St. Louis Blues. The NHL has announced that the game has been postponed and will be made up at a later date.

The blizzard is the fourth largest snowstorm in Denver's history, dropping 24.1 inches (61.2 cm) as of Sunday evening, just 24 hours after the snow began to fall.

The Kings were supposed to fly home following Sunday's game, but flights in and out of Denver International Airport were cancelled until Monday afternoon.

Los Angeles next game is scheduled for Wednesday against the St. Louis Blues, with puck drop set for 10pm ET/7pm PT.
