MUST-WATCH: Mitch Marner Caught Committing the Worst Dive of the Season
With the Toronto Maple Leafs taking on an old rival tonight, it seems the Leafs Mitch Marner was determined to keep his team on the right side of the score, whatever it takes. He wasted no time either, getting right to it in the first period of the game against the Boston Bruins.
Marner Tries Hard to Get a Call Against the Boston Bruins
As Marner was behind the Bruins net battling for the puck, he managed to get some spare room to try and get out front. During the play, the stick of Boston's Brandon Carlo came up somewhat, possibly reaching his chest. Marner went for the Oscar, hamming it up for any official who might be close by.
The move was, of course, instantly noticed by Bruins fans, and they got right down to business calling out Marner for the dive.
Boston took a 2-0 lead into the second period.
