Connor McDavid was heading into Wednesday night's game versus the Winnipeg Jets with 499 career points, and it took him just 3:45 to register point number 500 in his career with an assist on a Jesse Puljujarvi goal.

With the point, McDavid was able to achieve the milestone in 369 games, which happens to be the exact same amount of games it took Sidney Crosby to reach that same plateau. This is just another thing to add on to the already extremely impressive resume the 24-year-old has. Through his first six seasons in the NHL, he has won two Art Ross Trophies, two Ted Lindsay Awards, and one Hart Trophy.

Of those 500 points, 171 have been goals, while 329 have been assists. The numbers he is posting for the Edmonton Oilers are simply absurd, and will likely only continue to get better. He is well on his way to cementing his status as one of the best to ever play the game.
