The New York Rangers have lost a major part of their blueline for the next while. Jacob Trouba will miss four-to-six weeks with an upper body injury, the team has announced.

Trouba was injured during the Rangers' game against the New Jersey Devils Tuesday night. He left in the second period and did not return. There is no word on what exactly went wrong that caused him to leave the game.

This is more bad news for the Blueshirts who are having a tough season right now. The Rangers are 4-7-3 and currently sit in seventh place in the East Division. Trouba has three assists in 14 games this season.
