League announces the second postponement for Stars and Preds in as many days

Due to power outages caused by severe weather conditions in Dallas, Texas, the NHL has announced that Tuesday evening's contest between the Dallas Stars and the Nashville Predators is postponed.

This is the second postponement announced for the two teams in as many days, but in the interest of safety, it is most certainly the right call.

The NHL is currently working with each club to secure a make-up date for both Monday and Tuesday's games. The league plans to announce these dates as soon as they are confirmed, per the league's official release.

The Dallas Stars have been limited to just 12 games this season, primarily due to issues relating to COVID-19.

Both the Stars and the Preds are off below .500 starts, with the Stars holding a 5-3-4 record and the Preds currently sitting at 6-9 through their first 15 games.
