BREAKING: NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has just revealed where former Vezina trophy winner Marc-Andre Fleury will be after the trade deadline.

Friedman Reveals Wild Will Not Be Trading Fleury This Year

Elliotte Friedman revealed on social media that the Minnesota Wild will not be trading away Fleury this year.

One important development as we head towards the trade deadline: Minnesota has indicated it will not move Marc-Andre Fleury. They are happy to keep him.

The 39-year-old goalie has been a tandem with Filip Gustavsson this year. In 24 starts this year Fleury has struggled a bit with 12-10-3 record and a under 0.900% save percentage and a 2.92 goals against average.

The Wild are looking to return to the playoffs which is why they are electing to keep the veteran goalie.

The Wild are currently fighting for a wild card spot with 62 points trailing the Calgary Flames and LA Kings for the second and final spots.
